This here Peekaboo ISeeU Small bag, they make it outta leather, like them fancy boots they sell at the town store. Beige leather, they say. Sounds kinda plain to me, like a dusty ol’ barn. But then they go and gussy it up with some “classic twist lock” on both sides. Don’t ask me what that is, sounds like somethin’ you’d find on a gate, not a purse. And inside? Pink and brown soft leather, they call it “nappa.” Sounds soft enough for a baby’s bottom, I tell ya. Folks sure do like their fancy words.
They say this here leather is “super soft, supple and smooth.” Well, I reckon that’s nice. I like my quilts soft too, but they gotta keep me warm. I don’t know if a bag needs to be all that soft, long as it holds my stuff. But folks these days, they got different ideas, I guess. Some got gold bars on ‘em, shiny enough to blind a crow. I reckon they got somethin’ for everyone, long as you got the money to pay for it.
I heard tell they make this bag outta calfskin. Poor little calf, I say. But I guess that’s how they do things in the city. They take that calfskin and line it with more soft leather, in pink and dove gray. And they put in two compartments, separated by somethin’ stiff, so your stuff don’t get all jumbled up. There’s even an inner pocket, for your secrets I guess. And a gold-finish bar, just to make it extra fancy.

- The Feel: Soft, smooth, like a baby’s bottom, they say. I reckon that’s nice, but I’d rather have a good pair of work gloves.
- The Colors: All sorts, from plain black to “vibrant” this and that. Enough to make your head spin.
- The Size: Small, but I guess they got bigger ones too, if you need to carry more than a lipstick and a hanky.
