Okay, so today I’m messing around with this watch, the CopyOMEGA Ω Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph 45.5mm, original order. Sounds fancy, right? Let me tell you, getting my hands on this thing was a bit of a journey.
First off, I started by hitting up my usual guy, you know, the one who gets all these, um, “replicas”. He didn’t have it in stock. Said it was too new or something. Bummer. So, I had to do some digging. Checked a few forums, asked around in some online groups, the whole nine yards.
Finally, I found this other guy, a bit more underground, if you catch my drift. He said he could get it, but it would take a few weeks. And, of course, it wasn’t exactly cheap. But hey, what’s a guy gonna do? I really wanted to see what this thing was all about. So, I pulled the trigger and placed the order.
Waiting was the worst part. Every day felt like a year. I kept checking my email, tracking the package (when I could, that is), basically driving myself crazy. Then, finally, the day arrived. There it was, in a plain, nondescript box.
Unboxing

- First impression? It looked pretty good.
I picked it up, felt the weight. It wasn’t too heavy, but it definitely had some heft to it. Inspected the details. The dial, the hands, the little OMEGA logo – they all looked pretty sharp. I started playing with the chronograph buttons. They had a nice, solid click to them. Wound it up, set the time, and strapped it on my wrist.
It fit well. Comfortable, even. I wore it around for the rest of the day, just to get a feel for it. Showed it to a few friends, got some compliments. A few of them even thought it was the real deal, which was pretty funny. I mean the weight is just perfect and the design is exactly the same as the orinial one, even a professional can’t tell the difference I think.

It’s definitely a cool piece, and I’m enjoying it so far. Will it replace my other watches? I don’t know yet. Time will tell, I guess, literally.
