Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona for a while now. But, you know, those things are crazy expensive. So I thought, why not try and find a good replica? I even took it to a local watch guy just to see what he’d say. He looked it over, nodded, and said it was a pretty decent replica. He pointed out a few things that weren’t quite right, but he was impressed overall. He said the movement was good and it was put together well.
All in all, I’m glad I went down this road. I got the look I wanted without breaking the bank. It’s a fun little project, and I’m happy with the result. It made me feel like I got a great deal. It’s not a real Rolex, but it’s a pretty good imitation, and it makes me feel good wearing it. It’s still running strong and I get compliments on it all the time.
