Hey guys, what’s up? It’s your boy back again with another project. This time, I tried to remake that super popular PRADA Logo Tote Bag, the one everyone’s been going crazy for. You know, the one with the big PRADA logo on the front? Yeah, that one. So, I got this idea stuck in my head and just had to give it a shot.

First things first, I needed to get my hands on some materials. I went with this beige straw stuff, kind of like the original. And for the straps, I found some brown leather that looked pretty close. Honestly, finding the materials was half the battle. I spent hours searching online, going to different stores, and basically driving myself crazy until I found what I was looking for.

Getting Started

Once I had everything, I started working on the bag. I measured and cut the straw material, trying to get the shape and size just right. I’m not gonna lie, it was a bit tricky. Straw isn’t the easiest thing to work with, you know? It’s all stiff and wants to do its own thing. But I managed to get it into the shape I wanted, more or less.

  • I carefully measured the straw material and cut it out into the shape of the bag.
  • Then I started stitching the pieces together. I used a thick needle and some strong thread, since I wanted this thing to hold up.
  • I found a brown leather online, and I decided to use this to make the shoulder straps.
  • I printed out a big PRADA logo, just like the original bag. This was actually harder than I thought it would be.

Adding the Details

Next up was the logo. I printed out a big PRADA logo, just like the original bag. This was actually harder than I thought it would be. I had to resize it a bunch of times to get it to look right. But once I had it printed, I carefully attached it to the front of the bag. I used some strong glue, hoping it would hold.

The final step was the straps. I attached those brown leather straps, and I have to say, they looked pretty good. They gave the bag a nice, finished look. I double and triple-checked everything, making sure the seams were strong and the logo was secure.

And there you have it! My very own, handmade version of the PRADA Logo Tote Bag. It’s not perfect, of course. There are a few little things here and there that aren’t quite right. But overall, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It was a fun project, and it’s cool to have a bag that’s kind of like the real thing, but also totally unique. Plus, I learned a lot along the way. Maybe I’ll try making another bag soon. Who knows?
