CopyOMEGA Master Chronometer GMT 45.5mm: How to Get One?

Alright, let’s talk about this watch I just got. I’ve been eyeing this CopyOMEGA Ω Co-Axial Master Chronometer GMT 45.5mm for a while now, and I finally pulled the trigger. This whole thing started when I saw this guy on Instagram, showing off his brand new Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M. So, I began searching what I wanted.

First, I needed to figure out what I really wanted. I mean, these OMEGA watches come in so many styles. I was looking at the Seamaster and Seamaster Planet Ocean. I spent a good week just browsing. They’ve got these Master Co-Axial Chronometer movements that are supposed to be resistant to some crazy strong magnetic fields, up to 15,000 gauss. That’s insane. But I don’t even know how to measure gauss, and I am not planning to encounter such strong magnetic fields.

Then I started digging into the specifics. I found out that to be a “Master Chronometer,” the movement has to be accurate to within -0/+5 seconds per day. That’s pretty darn accurate. METAS testing does rigorous testing for the Master Chronometer, which is also important. I also like that the particular model that caught my eye has a Grade 5 titanium dial, with blackened hands filled with Super-LumiNova. That means it glows in the dark, which is cool.

Next, I had to find where to buy it. The difficult part is how to confirm it is genuine. I figured I’d check out some of the online sellers. You know, like those professional dealers who have access to all the top brands. I read somewhere that there are like 4,000 people who successfully sell their watches online every month, so I figured there had to be a good one out there. I decided to find a reliable one to get my watch.

So, after a lot of searching and comparing, I finally found a seller with good reviews and a solid return policy. I went ahead and ordered the watch. It was a bit nerve-wracking, spending that much money online, but I figured it was worth the risk.

  • I did search and research about OMEGA watches.
  • I found the model I love most.
  • I tried to search for a reliable seller online.
  • I confirmed and made my purchase.

A few days later, the watch arrived. It was even better in person than in the pictures. It’s a hefty piece, 45.5mm, but it feels good on my wrist. The titanium dial is awesome, and the Super-LumiNova really does glow brightly. I haven’t tested the accuracy yet, but I’m pretty confident it’ll be within that -0/+5 second range. Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. It was a bit of a journey, but I learned a lot about watches along the way. And now, I have a really awesome timepiece to show for it. I will show off it on Instagram tomorrow.
