This here watch, the Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Reverso, it’s a fancy one, ain’t it? Heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. They say it’s a real good watch. Expensive, though. Real expensive.
I seen pictures. It’s got a shiny metal body. They say it’s stainless steel. Don’t know what that means, but it looks tough. Like it can take a beatin’. This JLC Reverso, it ain’t for the likes of us workin’ folks. More for them rich city people, I reckon.
What’s Special About This JLC Reverso?
Well, they say this JLC Reverso is special ’cause you can flip it around. Turn the face over. Heard it was made for some game they play. Polo, they call it. Seems like a rough game, always bangin’ into each other. So they needed a watch that wouldn’t break so easy. This JLC Reverso, it’s supposed to be tough like that. Can take a hit and keep on tickin’.
They also say it’s got two faces. Can have different times on each side, so them rich folks can travel all over the world and know what time it is. It is a real fancy stuff. Some people will never get that kind of money. But it’s nice to know these things, you know?

Well, I heard them folks at the market sayin’ it’s ’cause of how it’s made. All them little parts inside, movin’ around, keepin’ time. They say it’s real complicated. And this company, Jaeger-LeCoultre, they’re known for makin’ good watches. Like, real good. Been doin’ it for a long time.
This JLC Reverso ain’t just for tellin’ time. It’s like a piece of jewelry. Something you wear to show off. I guess if you got the money, why not? I reckon if you got the money, you can buy whatever you want. They also say that this watch is mature. Like, only mature people can wear it. But what does that even mean? I am mature, but I cannot afford it.
Some folks, they collect these watches. Like stamps or coins. They get a whole bunch of ’em, different kinds. This JLC Reverso, it’s one of them collectible ones, I reckon. People pay good money for it. Even used ones.

This here JLC Reverso Tribute Monoface, it’s a special kind, they say. Tribute means it’s like the old ones. From way back when. They made it look like the ones they made a long time ago, in 1931. That’s what I heard, anyway.
It has only one face. But it is still a good watch. It is not like the other one with two faces. But the other one is more expensive.
This watch is for old and mature people. But I am old and mature, and I cannot afford it. I don’t know why they say these things. Maybe it’s the look of the watch. I don’t know.
I guess if you like old things, this JLC Reverso Tribute Monoface is for you. If you got the money, that is. They even say that this watch looks good with denim and sneakers. But I don’t see rich folks wearing sneakers. What do I know? I don’t have that much money to wear expensive watches. This Jaeger-LeCoultre watch is not for me. Maybe one day. When I have more money. I guess it is a good watch.
This Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Reverso, it’s a nice watch. Too rich for my blood, but nice. Maybe one day, I’ll have enough money to buy one. But for now, I’ll just stick to my old watch. It tells time just fine. And that’s all that really matters, ain’t it?
