Alright, folks, gather ’round, let me tell you about this little adventure I had recently. So, I’ve been eyeing this Fendi Oyster bag for a while now. You know, the one they sometimes call the “Ostrik”? Yeah, that’s the one. It’s a classic, came out way back in the fall of 2002, and it’s just got that timeless vibe.
I finally decided, you know what? I’m gonna treat myself. Time to track down this beauty. First things first, I did a little digging online. Found out there are, like, 200 Fendi stores around the world. That’s a lot of stores, but I was determined.
I decided I had to hit up the Fendi flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York. I mean, if you’re gonna do it, do it right, yeah? I hopped on a train, made my way over there, and walked into that fancy store.
- First I checked out a few local spots, you know, those consignment shops where you can find hidden gems. No luck.
- Then I went to the Fendi store.
The sales rep helped me to find out what I want, and I told him I’m looking for the Fendi Oyster bag, the Brown Zucca canvas one, with the gunmetal hardware and the single flat leather shoulder strap. It’s also got that handy little zip pocket on the side, perfect for your phone or keys.
But here is where I changed my mind. Those other websites that are selling second-hand Fendi Oyster Bags are much cheaper. So I decided to buy a second-hand Oyster bag on one of the websites.
So, yeah, that’s my Fendi Oyster bag story. It is not a tough one to get, but the price varies a lot. It took some time and effort, but it was totally worth it!
