That Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag, my god, it’s the talk of the town. It’s small, they say, but I see folks carrying it all over. You want to buy one? I heard you. Let me tell you what I know, just some old lady’s words, you know.
First, you gotta find a place to buy it. No, not just any place. Gotta be a good one. Some places, they sell you fakes. You don’t want a fake Prada, oh no. Costs too much money to be fake. That’s for sure.
You gotta look for that Saffiano leather, they call it. What is that? I don’t know, but it’s gotta be that. Supposed to be tough, like my old boots. Stands up to anything, they say. Rain, snow, don’t matter. You want to look for that.
And the size, oh, the size. They say it’s small. Small for some folks, maybe. But I seen women carry all sorts in there. Wallets, phones, even a little snack. It’s bigger on the inside, I guess. Like that magic bag that Mary Poppins woman had in that movie. Remember that movie? That was something else.
You gotta check the stitching, too. That’s how you know it’s real. Gotta be neat, like a good quilt. No loose threads. If you see loose threads, that’s a bad sign. Run away from that bag. Don’t you buy it.
Colors, oh, they got colors. Black, white, red, even some fancy ones I can’t even name. Like that blue they have at the park when the flowers bloom. What do they call that flower? I can’t recall but it’s pretty, just like that blue bag.
- Black is good, goes with everything.
- White, pretty, but gets dirty easy. Just like my old apron.
- Red, oh, that’s bold. Like that Mrs. Henderson’s lipstick. You remember her, always with the red lipstick.
You gotta look at the handles, too. Gotta be strong. You don’t want them breaking when you’re carrying your things. And that little triangle thing, that Prada thing. Gotta be on there. That’s how you know it’s a real Prada, they say. Not that I care much about brands, but you young folks do.
And the price, oh, the price. It’s a lot. More than I ever spent on a bag. But they say it’s worth it. Lasts a long time, they say. Like a good cast iron pan. You buy a good one, it lasts forever. You take care of it, of course. Same with the bag.
They say you can buy them online, too. But I don’t trust that. I like to see things with my own eyes. Touch them, you know? Make sure it’s real. You can’t do that online. Too many tricks these days. People trying to fool you.
I heard that you should sign up for some promotions or something. That’s what the young folks do. They get emails. I don’t know about emails, sounds complicated. But if it saves you money on that Prada bag, maybe it’s worth it. They say you get news about new arrivals, tailored just for you. Tailored! Like a fancy dress.
You know, there’s lots of things to do in Columbus, not just shopping. We got that art museum, the Columbus Museum of Art. I went there once, saw some interesting things. And that Franklin Park Conservatory, oh, that’s beautiful. Flowers, plants, all sorts. Even in December, they have things going on. It’s not like my garden, it’s all year round. It’s like an advent calendar but with fun activities, not chocolates. Though I do like chocolates.
They got festivals, too. Big ones. Celebrating all sorts of things. You can see all kinds of traditions, inventions, all in one day, they say. Sounds tiring to me, but maybe you young folks like that. But what do i know? I am just some old lady rambing on, right?
In Columbus, the weather can be unpredictable. One day it’s sunny, the next it’s snowing. You gotta check the forecast, they say. They got people who tell you what the wind will be like, the air quality, all that. Back in my day, we just looked at the sky. But times change, I guess.
So, you want that Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag? The small one? It’s a nice bag, I guess. If you got the money, and you like that sort of thing, why not? Just make sure you get a real one. And take care of it. It’s an investment, they say. Like buying land. Or a good cow.
Anyway, that’s all I know about that bag. Hope it helps. Now, I’m gonna go have a cup of tea. This old lady needs a rest.
