This one, it’s got a cover on the back, so you can see all the little parts moving around. They call it a “sapphire crystal case back.” Fancy words for a clear back, I guess. And it’s got a little door to keep the dust out. “Invisibly-hinged dust cover,” they call it. Like a secret door on a watch.
Now this Patek Philippe 5227R-001, it is a good watch, I suppose. For them that can buy it, that is. These Patek Philippe Calatrava watches are very popular. Not that this old lady would ever need something that fancy, but these young folks with all their money love this thing. But I wouldn’t trade my old Timex for it. It tells the time just fine, and that’s all I need.

It’s a lot of watch, that’s for sure. But for me, it’s just a lot of money. But these rich people want to buy Patek Philippe.
