This here bag, the Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Mini-Bag, it’s somethin’ else. I seen it on them city girls, all fancy and whatnot. They call it a “Remake”, like they done made it over. RemakePRADA, that’s what them young folks say. And it’s s’posed to be sold in them “Specialty Stores”. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
Well, I tell ya, this ain’t no feed sack. This little Prada bag is made of some kinda special leather. They call it “Saffiano”. Sounds like somethin’ you’d sprinkle on your pasta, but I reckon it’s just fancy talk for tough. Real tough. It ain’t gonna rip easy, no sir. They say it got 83 pieces all stitched together. 83! Can you imagine? My old quilt ain’t got that many patches!
And it’s small, this Prada Galleria Mini-Bag. “Mini”, they call it. Just big enough for your essentials, I guess. Maybe your hanky, some hard candy, and a little bit of cash. You wouldn’t be stuffin’ no chickens in this thing, that’s for sure! This is a bag for going out, not workin’!
This here Prada bag, it costs a pretty penny too. More than I’d spend on groceries for a month! But I guess if you got the money, and you want somethin’ real nice, this is it. And another called the “Re-Nylon Messenger Bag”, like the postman would use, but i can say it’s probably still a luxury bag! These PRADA bags sure got some strange names.

But this little Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Mini-Bag, it’s the one that caught my eye. It’s just so… neat. And that Saffiano leather, it looks like it could take a beatin’ and still look good. Maybe it ain’t practical for everyday life, not for haulin’ groceries or feedin’ the chickens. But for a special occasion, well, it might just be the thing. It is a RemakePRADA bag, so it is like an update on an old classic. This kind of thing is popular with the rich people.
I don’t know if I’d ever buy one myself. It’s a lot of money for a little purse. But I can see why them city girls like it. It’s a little piece of fancy, somethin’ special to make you feel good.
