Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing this Prada Re-Edition 2005 bag for a while now. I mean, who hasn’t? It’s like, the “it” bag. Anyway, I finally decided to just go for it and buy the darn thing. This is my first time to buy a bag like this. I did some digging around about it before I pulled the trigger, though.

First off, I learned that this Re-Edition 2005 is basically a remake of the original nylon bags Prada made way back when. The design is pretty much the same, you know, that classic, sleek look.

I found out that the Re-Edition 2000 version has this zipper thing at the top. Also I learned that the 2005 is like a mini-sized bag. They say it’s about 18 cm high and 6.5 cm long. So, not exactly huge, but big enough for your essentials, I guess. I figured it would be perfect for carrying around my phone, wallet, keys, and maybe some lip gloss.

They say it’s inspired by some famous “mini hobo bag,” whatever that means. But it looked cool, so I was sold. I also read somewhere that Prada bags can actually hold their value over time. Apparently, some of them even become more valuable as they get older, which is kinda neat. Like, it’s not just a bag, it’s an “investment,” or something like that, right?

So, I placed my order online, and when it arrived, I ripped open that box like a kid on Christmas morning. And there it was, in all its glory. It had this little white tag inside, tucked into the seam of the pocket. It’s got some numbers printed on it, which I guess is supposed to be some kind of factory code. I guess it’s some proof that it’s a real Prada. Also, I learned that Prada, I guess it’s a fancy Italian brand, started in Milan in, like, 1913 or something. They do bags, shoes, clothes, all that jazz.

I gotta say, I was pretty stoked. I tried it on as a shoulder bag, then as a crossbody. It looked good both ways! I mean, it’s a Prada, so of course it does.

  • I took it out for a spin that weekend.
  • Felt pretty fancy, not gonna lie.
  • Got a few compliments, too, which was a nice bonus.

All in all, I’m really happy with my purchase. It’s a gorgeous bag, it’s practical, and hey, maybe it’ll even be worth more someday. Who knows? But for now, I’m just gonna enjoy carrying it around and feeling like a million bucks.
