Find Your Dream Remake PRADA Cleo Bag: The Ultimate Online Store Guide

Alright, so, I saw this Prada Cleo bag online, and you know, I just had to try and remake it. It’s that brushed leather, super sleek, with that metal triangle logo – totally my style. I went on this whole hunt on the official Prada online store, just browsing, getting ideas, you know?

Getting Started

First things first, I started gathering my materials. I mean, I’m not using real Prada leather, but I found some pretty decent brushed leather that kind of has that same vibe. And that magnet closure? I actually found some similar ones at a local craft store. Who would’ve thought, right?

The Process

  • Cutting the Leather: This was probably the trickiest part. I sketched out the shape of the Cleo bag – that curved silhouette is so unique. Then, I carefully cut out the leather pieces. I won’t lie, I messed up a couple of times, but hey, that’s part of the process.
  • Finding the Hardware: Okay, so I couldn’t find the exact Prada logo, obviously. But I did manage to get a simple silver-tone triangle that’s kind of similar. And the single leather handle? I actually made that myself, cutting and stitching the leather. It’s not perfect, but it works.
  • Assembling the Bag: I started stitching the pieces together, slowly but surely. I’m not a pro at this, so there were definitely some wonky seams. But I managed to get the basic shape of the bag together. Then, I added the magnet closure and the handle. It was actually starting to look like a bag!

The Final Touches

The last step was adding the triangle logo thingy. I attached it to the front, and honestly, it didn’t look half bad. The whole thing was a bit rough around the edges, but you could definitely see the resemblance to the Prada Cleo.

My Thoughts

So, yeah, my homemade Cleo bag isn’t exactly like the one from the Prada store. It’s got its flaws, for sure. But it was a super fun project. And, you know, it’s kind of cool to have a bag that I made myself, even if it’s not perfect. Plus, I learned a ton about working with leather and stuff. Would I do it again? Maybe! It’s definitely a cool way to get that high-fashion look without, you know, breaking the bank.
